# MintFlow 2.0.0: a new core and an HTTP research workflow

Canonical: https://galaxnet.dev/mintflow/releases/2.0.0/
Language: en-US

VPPRS, JavaScript and jq rewrites, AI-friendly HTTP analysis exports, MFHRB bundles, and experimental Tailscale support.

MintFlow 2.0.0 brings a new packet-processing foundation, a redesigned interface, and a complete capture-to-rewrite workflow to iPhone and iPad.

## A new networking foundation

VPPRS, our custom Rust vectorized packet-processing core inspired by fd.io VPP, now powers active packet processing. This replaces the legacy VPP runtime and gives MintFlow more control over routing performance, stability, and future development. WireGuard, proxy routing, DNS, MTU handling, and HTTP/2 also receive improvements.

The redesigned Home screen adds Simple Mode: choose one Direct, VPN, or proxy output for ordinary traffic. Advanced profiles remain available for selective routing. Profile diagnostics explain compilation problems and features restricted by your current entitlement.

## Capture, investigate, and build a rewrite

HTTP/HTTPS inspection now includes request and response body rewriting with **jq or JavaScript**, alongside URL rejection and redirection. Capture All, domain/IP scope controls, search, and request/response details help you investigate a focused browsing or app session.

Export stopped captures as an **Agent Analysis Bundle**: a ZIP with capture databases, transaction summaries, and the MFHRB authoring specification, JSON Schema, and template. An AI coding agent can inspect that evidence and return a portable **`.mfhrb`** file containing one rewrite rule and its complete script. Import it, review the disabled rule, test it, then enable it for a live trial. Stable rule and script names let you iterate on the same imported rewrite.

The analysis export redacts query values and known credential headers. Included bodies and optional current rule text can still contain sensitive data; review what you share. MintFlow does not automatically send captures to an AI service.

Follow the [HTTP capture guide](/mintflow/manual/howtos/http-live-capture/) and the [analysis bundle and MFHRB guide](/mintflow/manual/howtos/http-analysis-mfhrb/).

## More visibility and tools

- A new activity timeline, DNS Log, Flow Capture, and destination details.
- Pro packet capture with PCAPNG export and a new Pro iPerf3 client.
- Pro iCloud sync for profiles and local rewrite scripts.
- Redesigned onboarding and many fixes across imports, live settings, and networking.

## Experimental Tailscale, including during a Pro trial

Connect a profile to Tailscale using browser authentication or an auth key, inspect peers, and select an exit node. Tailscale requires an active Pro entitlement, including an eligible active subscription trial. MintFlow still chooses which traffic enters the tailnet through its profile routes.

The initial integration is experimental and supports IPv4 routing; it is not a replacement for every feature in the official Tailscale client. Read the [Tailscale setup guide](/mintflow/manual/howtos/tailscale/) for login, routing, limitations, and what happens when a trial expires.

## A useful free toolkit

App Routing, DoH/DoT, HTTP inspection, Capture All, Flow Capture, and a limited allowance of domain and rewrite rules are available for free. Pro unlocks additional features and higher allowances; consult the app for your current access and subscription terms.

MintFlow does not provide VPN or proxy servers. Bring your own server or a third-party service.
